Anthea Lavallee
Board Member
Anthea is an environmental professional with over 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector. She joined the staff of the Hubbard Brook Research Foundation in 2012 and was appointed to the position of Executive Director in 2016.
Working at the interface of science and society, Anthea combines her curiosity about the natural world with a passion for building community. As a first generation American from a multicultural background, she is a natural-born boundary-spanner. She strives to create a culture of environmental awareness that is scholarly and practical, reality-based and creative, equitable, actionable and hopeful.
Anthea joined the Preserve’s Board of Directors in 2022 and serves on Conservation, Education and Human Resources Committees.
