Woodcock Walk: In Search of the Timberdoodle

April 5 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

As the daylight fades, the evening erupts in the sounds of early spring. Amongst the calls of the spring peepers and woods frogs, one can hear the “peent!” of the American woodcock, also known as the Timberdoodle. Come along on an evening walk to learn about these amazing birds, listen for their “peent” calls, and maybe even see a male perform his impressive courtship flight! This is a free program. Registration is required. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
