Introduction to Tree Anatomy and Physiology

Join us for an engaging and informative program where we explore the fascinating world of tree anatomy and physiology at the Testimonial Gateway Trailhead on April 23rd from 9:30 to 11:00. This introductory session is perfect for nature enthusiasts, gardeners, and anyone curious about the life processes of trees.

In this program, you’ll learn about the inner workings of trees, from their root systems and vascular tissues to their leaves and bark. Discover how trees grow, respond to their environment, and maintain their health. We’ll also delve into the processes of photosynthesis, nutrient transport, and how trees adapt to different ecosystems.

 

This program is part of Mohonk Preserve’s Earth Week celebration.
