Older Wiser Learners (OWLs) – Winter Wildflowers Workshop

You are never too old to learn new things! Join Mohonk Preserve Education Staff for a series of workshops for adults ages 18+. Participants will dive deeper into the natural history of the Gunks in these seasonal workshops. As the growing season ends and fall becomes winter, the colorful blooms of the summer and autumn are gone. In this workshop we will learn a few tips for identifying wildflowers when the blooms are done using the leaves, stems and other characteristics of the plants. This program will be held outdoors for a look at the plants in the field. Come dressed for the weather in warm layers. Space is limited and registration is required. Cost is $15 for members and $25 for non-members.
