Kleine Kill Stream Restoration and Dam Removal Project
March 18 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Join Mohonk Preserve staff and the Habitat Restoration Team from Riverkeeper for an information session on the restoration of the Kleine Kill Stream and the removal of the failing Duck Pond Dam. Riverkeeper has worked for decades to protect and restore the Hudson River watershed ensuring clean water for all. After viewing the documentary “One Dam at a Time” by Riverkeeper, learn from Mohonk Preserve stewardship and conservation science staff and the contractors involved in the removal of the dam and what that means for the restoration of the Kleine Kill and the surrounding land. Afterwards, there will be Q&A time for anyone attending the event. This is a free event for all ages held at the Gardiner Library.
