Kids’ Climate Science Series – Follow the Light Energy

The Kids’ Climate Science Series will feature activities, games and art that will help kids better understand the science of climate change. The seasonal programs will focus on different science concepts that impact our climate. Join a Mohonk Preserve educator to follow the light energy through space, Earth’s atmosphere and more to find out how light and heat energy can influence our planet’s climate. Kids ages 8 and up will play a game moving through stations to discover the many paths light energy takes and how it relates to climate change. Space is limited and registration is required for all participants. Adults do not need to register but must be present for the duration of the program. Free for members and $5 for nonmembers.
