Homeschool – Survival Shelter Building

This winter join a Mohonk Preserve Educator to learn about survival in the woods. We will go over the Rule of 3’s, what to do if you become lost in the woods and how to prepare for a hike. Work as a team to build a debris shelter that will protect you from the elements. We will learn about and practice Leave No Trace Principles while on the land. This program is suitable for children 5 to 12 years old. All children must be accompanied by at least one adult. The fee for the program is $30/child and $15/additional child.
