Kids’ Day in the Sugar Bush

Join Mohonk Preserve educators and volunteers on a short hike to the Sugar Bush to experience the fun of maple sugaring! Be ready to tromp through the snow or mud, help in the sugarbush, and learn to make maple syrup like generations of families have done. Children ages 4 and up are welcome and must always be accompanied by a registered adult. This program is 100% outdoors and includes an easy, 1-mile hike. Wear boots and warm clothing. Registration is limited to 20 people per group per session. The two-hour sessions will start at 11am, 12pm and 1pm. The fee per person is $10 and is required at the time of registration.
