I hear many say each year, like author J.K. Rowling wrote, “Autumn seemed to arrive suddenly!” And yet, the signals are there for us to observe, as they are for each season.
Weeks before the autumnal equinox the third week of September, the nights noticeably begin “drawing in.” Light, or day length, is the great governor of natural processes.
